Did midlife crisis make me build online DXN Ganoderma coffee business?
What is midlife crisis?
*I would like to note in advance that I am neither a naturopath nor a psychologist or sociologist, just a talkative teacher who spends too much time building a Network Marketing business on the internet
According to Internet sources, both women and men can experience a midlife crisis from their mid-thirties to their 60s. This psychological crisis is triggered by the fear of the passage of time and the decline of one’s opportunities. Those who suffer from this critical period of life are faced with their dreams and goals that have not come true. Buying expensive sports cars and having relationships with much younger women are also described as typical phenomena for men.
Strange things that men in their 40’s do
If we just consider that there are men and women over 40 who start spending money, trying new things, or maybe restarting a long-forgotten hobby or sport that may seem strange because of their age, then this may be a bit of a strange phenomenon, but it is not necessarily bad, negative or ridiculous. Maybe they couldn’t do it before, either due to lack of financial resources or time, and now that they have the time and money for the things they didn’t have when they were younger, now, a little older, many people would say that they are weirdos.
In my case, when I started skateboarding over 40, after just rolling for a few weeks as a child, there were people who literally commented that “this is bullshit”. Skateboarding is more associated with skinny teenage guys, not with men in their forties who look like me, and there are plenty of them, not only skateboarders over forty, but also BMX riders, both in Flatland, Street, Dirt and Park styles.
But why am I blogging about midlife crisis now?
Those who have been following me for a while may already be starting to suspect that I will somehow make fun of this and see it as another opportunity to combine my midlife crisis with my online mushroom coffee business.
If you think so, then congratulations, you are right! 😊 You have won a free DXN membership! 😊
Putting joking aside, in my case, midlife crisis has been present for many years. I am afraid that the school gate will close behind me day after day until I retire, and I will be permanently stuck in this vicious circle that the current education system, which leaves a lot to be desired, carries. I still stick to my initial goal: I do not want to retire as a teacher at 65, but I want to live on passive income, long before the retirement age.
Internet coffee business for introverts
(This could be the title of a separate blog post, but I’ll leave it here for now)
If you, who are reading these lines now, are also a teacher, you may be wondering what I am still doing in this job. I understand you. Basically, I am more of a reclusive person. If people don’t ask, I just keep to myself, which does not necessarily mean that I have a problem with anyone. Unfortunately, the mandatory communication at work has been draining my energy lately, and I don’t have the desire or energy to communicate with anyone else. Specifically, I’ve gotten fed up with getting into hopeless situations every day, which I still have to solve in a way that’s good for everyone. I’ve talked to several teachers from different, but similar backgrounds, and they understand what I mean.
Also, because of a fundamentally stressful, incredibly noisy, and difficult workplace full of people, I think online networking is ideal for me, where I don’t have to meet anyone in person, do not have to give presentations if I don’t want to, and I don’t even have to hustle or push.
Anyone who really knows me knows that I do my best in my daily work, as much as circumstances allow. I love teaching. My short-term goal is to get a full-time job at the high school where I currently work as a teacher. I graduated from this school before our era, when dinosaurs were tramping on the ground where my city Miskolc is now. I was so impressed by the stress-free, human atmosphere that prevails in the school that I thought about continuing teaching here even after I have a passive income from DXN,.
Of course, not all schools are that good. I won’t go into detail about what makes a school good, because that’s not what this little article is about. However, the daily closing of the door of a bad workplace behind us is not a heartwarming thing, it may even cause panic in some people, so much so that they are open to learning about an opportunity that will make them forget all their mid-life crises.
*I would like to note that I am not a marketing expert either, but if this blog post has struck a chord in you, causing you to try this wonderful coffee, and maybe even the MLM business that everyone hates, you have managed to put it in a slightly more sympathetic light. If I had to show it, it would have been worth it, both for me and you! 😊
